Same as the preceding conferences, the 2013 conference aims at promoting research and sharing of empirical findings related to Sign Linguistics and Deaf Education in Asia. This conference is sponsored by The Nippon Foundation. Status of sign language

The official languages of the conference will be Cantonese, English, and Hong Kong Sign Language (HKSL). In addition to these official languages, interpretation to and from American Sign Language (ASL) will be provided. Wherever possible, interpretation to and from Asian sign languages will also be provided. Presenters wishing to present in a sign language should contact us (conference2013@cslds.org) for further information and specific arrangements.
